The August meeting of the Parish Council has been cancelled.
The speedwatch monitoring held in June/July, over just 9 one-hour sessions during a 3 week period recorded 91 motorists driving at 35mph or more.
Top speed was 52mph.

This year’s Flower and Vegetable Show is on Sunday 2nd September in the Village Hall at 3pm. Cakes and teas will be available with the auction of produce from 4pm. Always a fun event.
Entries are taken from 10.00am to 12 noon.
The 10th BANTER AND BATTER QUIZ NIGHT with Fish and Chips, Raffle and Prizes will be held on Saturday 13 October 2018.
Doors open 7.00 pm for a 7.30 pm start. Always a great event in aid of local charities – this time the village hall.
Get a team of 6 together (£60 a team) and reserve your table by contacting Jackie and Deryck Watson on 01604 781131. Or if you prefer just pay £10 per person and we will put you into a team with other quizzers.

Holcot Brownies meet 6-7:15pm on Wednesdays in the village hall. They have a very varied programme.
