New health and fitness class: Move It or Lose It; starting on Monday 13 April; Holcot Village Hall

Building on the success of the classes held in Brixworth, Cynthia Bouchard is bringing her Move It or Lose It classes to Holcot.

The first class is on Monday 13 April between 11.00am and midday, and will then run every Monday at the same time.

Generally aimed at the 60+ age group, Move It or Lose It also welcomes younger people who want to gently improve their fitness. And the emphasis is on ‘gently’ – no power moves or heavy weights here!

Each class comprises a warm-up and three light aerobic exercises choreographed to music. This is followed by balance, strength and flexibility exercises, and a separate section that concentrates on strengthening the pelvic floor. The classes end with a cool-down session using movements inspired by tai chi.

For new joiners, the first session is FREE! After that, the fee is £6.00 per session on a ‘pay-as-you-go’ basis.
