Three ways to watch today’s solar eclipse safely…

Mesmerising, mysterious and beautiful it may be, but the solar eclipse has it’s own dangers.

Looking directly at the sun, even for a few seconds, can permanently damage your eyesight.

Specialised solar-eclipse glasses are almost impossible to find, so you might be tempted to use sunglasses or darkened swimming goggles instead. DON’T. Neither of those gives the required level of protection. And never use binoculars or a telescope*.
